Newark Startup Selected for Techstars Accelerator

PeduL is proud to announce that they have been selected to participate in the second cohort of startups for the Techstars Workforce Development Accelerator Program. Techstars focuses on working with and investing in startups that can make a positive social impact in culture and commerce.

The program—located in Denver, Colorado—is an intensive 13-week program that guides startups through strategic innovation objectives, as they learn to reduce costs, establish innovative company cultures and implement rapid product development practices. The program invests in organizations that specialize in technologies and business models that change workforce outcomes for students and job seekers.

“We’re honored to join the Techstars family and we’re excited to see ourselves develop into the kind of founders we used to admire when we started this journey,” said Chisa Egbelu, co-founder and CEO of PeduL. “I’m proud of what our company has accomplished so far, and I can’t wait to see what we do after this.”

As of 2019, Techstars portfolio companies have a combined market capitalization of $18.2 billion USD. Fewer than 1% of applicants are accepted.
